hello. I was wondering if anyone could suggest any books that have helped them prepare for the praxis?

Unfortunately, the ETS site doesn't give any "free help" (not surprising since they make the exams.) Burt there are some sites that do:

http://www.testprepreview.com/praxis_practice.htm

http://www.praxisprepinfo.com/

http://www.examcram2.com/articles/article.asp?p=381917&seqNum=8

http://staff.kings.edu/kdils/praxis_prep.htm

You can also buy these books:

http://www.learnatest.com/products/1576851362B000.cfm

http://www.amazon.com/PPST-Study-Guide-Praxis-Guides/dp/0886852420

http://www.amazon.com/Praxis-I-PPST-Cliffs-Test/dp/0764563971

http://www.amazon.com/Barrons-How-Prepare-Praxis-Assessments/dp/0764174800

At Amazon, you can buy good used copies cheaply and get reader reviews to decide which book is best for you.

I'd recommend either the "Cliffs" or the "Barrons."

Praxis is such a cool word, but almost no one knows what it means.
