Maybe someone can help me with this. I recently switched careers and became a teacher in Texas. I have a standard certification and one year internship, and that’s all I have so far.

The problem is, I can’t find a job this year. When I thought about relocating, I was faced with the issue that most states don’t recognize other states’ certificate unless the teacher have at least three years of experience.

Is there an easy way to tell where my cert. can be recognized? Or do I have to contact every state school district for the purpose?

Thank you.

Nadia
