Given the choice of the school you work in or any school in your city/town, where would you send your kids to school?

I really rather not have my kids attend my school (at the New Mexico State Penitentiary - though I'd give them a fine education. ) But I imagine most parents, if given the wide-open choice of any school, would opt for the one with the best reputation.

The school I work in because it is an excellent school first and I'm here also second.  Happy serendipity.

If this school were not so excellent I would say homeschool next, if an option, parochial school next, private school in that order.

It would be either my school (It's been rated in the top 250 in Newsweek Magazine) or my husband's alma matter in the same town (a private Catholic high school for boys). Either choice would be fine for our sons.

If I had the choice, I would send my children to private school. Or home school.

I send my children to public school because he is getting a good education and I believe in public schooling. I would love for my son to have attened NYC schools, where I work but  don't live.
