I just graduated with an Ed.D. and I cant get a job.

Posted 2 months ago Hello friends, I just graduated a year ago with an Ed.D. We were told that this degree would help in getting a job as an administrator. I have applied at different school and they are asking for an Administrative Credential. I am not sure what that is and how long will it take me to get one. Please help. Thanks, |

In NY there are two types of administrative credentials, one (SBA) for principals and other school-based administrators and the other (SDA) for district administrators. Information is available from the NY State Education Department http://www.nysed.gov/ I am sure the state education department of the other any state would have the information pertinent to that state.
