Posted 28 days ago Would you give up your lunch period if it meant you could leave work that much sooner? |

| Posted 28 days ago My first response was yes...but when I think about it, lunch breaks are a good time to take a breather and refresh...so now the answer is maybe. It depends on which day and how hard I'm working. |

| Posted 28 days ago Sorry, No Can Do. My brief 22.5 (notice the .5) minute lunch is the ONLY chance I have to make it to the mens room. |

In fact I'd stay a little later to just have a real (30 min) lunch period. |

| Posted 28 days ago i often use my lunch period for collaboration with other teachers, voluntary PDs, meetings with administrators, etc. and still rarely get out of the building before 4:00 (school ends at 3:00). |

| Posted 28 days ago No. It is often the only break I get all day, and I still stay over an hour later than most teachers. Let us put our minds together and see what life we can make for our children. ~ Sitting Bull |

What is the .5 for? Is that the time walking from your classroom to the bathroom?
As for give up lunch...nope. I already work through lunch so that I can leave as soon I can after school and be with my babies!!! |

| Posted 27 days ago I would give up my lunch break if it meant that the school day would end that much earlier. I usually just eat a few snacks throughout the day anyways, and I could wait until 2:30 to really eat some food. But we all know that this would do very little in terms of getting out of the building earlier. There is always something to do! "All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible.
