hi!! i do think giving responsibilities to a troublesome student will do..


it gives him the impression that you trust him...


therefore, he will most likely to impress you..

 It will work, but start the job out small and relate very specific expectations.

I second what brownoser suggests, let the student earn bigger and better jobs. Also, make sure the student can succeed. Give specific expectations for performance, but also give specific instructions on how to do the job. Don't assume that the student knows how to do things because an  unruly student may not have been trusted enough to have done the job before.
