I was wondering what social networking tools people here use.  I use NetVibes to collect RSS feeds and bookmark links.  I am thinking about using it to replace a "resources" page on the teacher website, but I'd like to explore other possibilies also.  Here is the link to my public NetVibes space:

I posted this a while back and was hoping to get some feedback.  I'm commenting on it now to "bump it up" again... perhaps you missed it. I do like the social networking tool, and would be interested to know if others use different ones and what they think of theirs.

I use facebook. It is not great but it is easy.

LinkedIn seems to be getting popular here. Several staff members have invited me to use it.

I have LinkedIn.  Isn't it more for job hunting?  Maybe I didn't explore it well enough.

I also have linked-in, but it doesn't seem to be very social.

Now Mike, you and I disagree quite a bit lately, but you could hardly accuse me of being anti-social. Let's meet for a drink, a chat and a meal sometime soon. With you in Burlington and me in NYC we could meet half-way, Albany perhaps. Maybe we could watch one of the Presidential debates together, or do you think we'd come to blows?

Since my older son has a MySpace page - I created one for myself and had him add me as a link.  Plus, I use The Apple for networking and socializing with like minds.  I had a Facebook page, but it is not very user friendly.
