I second that. Oh, and my wardrobe gets a nod, too.

The warm weather.

After spending so many years in places (Florida, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia) where it's warm to hot almost all year, I've grown unaccustomed to the cold. When it gets below 60 F, I start to freeze.

Sleeping in (at least until 6:30!) gets a vote, but my favorite thing about summer is wearing shorts and sandals.

Sunshine, sleeping out-of-doors, and gardening.

In summer time we have such a long vacation ( two months), that I can travel, do gardening, meet my friends, redecorate my house, make translations since I am also an interpreter. Summer brings me so much variety. I can't wait to enjoy it!

My favorite thing is spending time with my family.  Unfortunately my husband doesn't get summers off but the kids do.  We have a lot of stuff planned all summer long.

Enjoying the sun as much as possible! I am so used to warmth now (in Greece) that the cold winter and the rather long spring was just inbearable...Hopefully it is getting really summery now.

I love everything about summer, except not being in the classroom with my kids. I will be able to get caught up on my school work (Master's degree), read books to add to the class bookshelf next year, revamp lesson plans, and spend as much time outside as possible.

My favorite thing about the summer is the opening of our many local ice cream stands! Mmmmm......seasonal deliciousness.
