This movie is a masterpiece. Not a single shot is unneeded, not a single moment is overdone. It is not a fairy tale in the escapist tradition of Disney. This is a story that will draw you in, spin you around, make you scared, elated, fascinated but never willing to stop seeing the next moment. Wonderfully shot and choreographed - the director is a master who has created an amazing tapestry.

I agree with John -- a true marvel of a film that explores the mythic imagination -- too violent for young viewers, though.

This movie was very interesting, but scary, too! It was hard to tell who was the good and who was the bad since everyone looked a bit unusual.
