Harry Wong is a wonderful speaker. I had the pleasure of hearing him speak 5 years ago. I have also participated in a series of local workshops with local speakers using his video tapes as a basis for discussion groups. That may be influencing my high rating, but I find his book very useful and full of practical tips and advice. His enthusiasm for teaching is delightful.

Currently reading this book! Very good information! We watched his videos in one of my college classes and they were very inspirational.

All my current education classes refer to Harry Wong and this book. It is extremely insightful and contains tons of info and ideas!

It's a good book. I respect the knowledge that Harry Wong brings to the table; however, I feel that this book is geared more towards the Elementary teacher. Sure, some things can be adapted into the Middle and High School classroom. But, it's certainly geared towards the Elementary level.

This is a great book for the new teacher, and good refresher for the experienced teacher. While the techniques are more readily accepted at the elementary level, many can be used in the middle and high school level. I have used several with success at the upper levels, and I hand this book out to each new teacher I mentor.

As a elementary teacher, I agree this is a great tool for teachers new and old! I received it as a gift my first year teaching and I pull it out every August to refresh my mind and practices.

This is the best classroom management guide I have ever used. It provides useful tips for teachers from early childhood to college. Mr. Wong gives easy, effective tips for making a classroom a more productive learning environment.
