It turned out to be the best classroom management experience I could ever ask for. The last teacher only lasted two weeks and he ran out of the school after the kids stuffed him in a locker! I knew I had to be tough from the minute I walked in the room! One kid actually told another not to mess with the little blond because she was crazy...lol! I'm not but made them think I was a lot tougher then I actually am and it was a great experience. It is also exhausting and I do hope to work with the little ones soon! Being a music and band teacher is a great job! I know we have a lot of fun with our music teacher! The autistic kids and mentally challenged children are great with her and I know you get a diverse amount of children yourself.

i used to teach emotionally disturbed special education. This year I work with autistic and mentally challenged students! I am a elementary teacher but took a job a few years ago to work with emotionally disturbed 7th and 8th graders. No one wanted the job...lol! I went from being a pre k teacher to a middle school special ed teacher. When I complete my masters I'll have three certifications. What do you teach?
