About Me:
I am divorced and at the age when many would be considering either retirement, or starting a new, post-retirement career. I'm doing neither. I'm just looking to get back to teaching after having been away from it for a short while. It took me 18 years after graduating from college to finally start teaching. I thought I wanted to teach elementary, but found middle school so much more rewarding. And coaching at the middle and high school levels was the bomb!! My kids were so motivating to me! And coaching "State Champions" wasn't bad either! Unfortunately, a family trajedy necessitated my moving from northern New Mexico to Houston, Tx. Finding a teaching position in PE has been like pulling wisdom teeth, even though they can't seem to build schools fast enough to keep up with the population growth. Even the new schools have trailer parks of mobile classrooms. But, I'll keep looking,
