Here are some of the reasons why I would like to have a career in the public school system:
1. To find success and to have some sense of job security
2. To be a better citizen and to feel that I am giving something back to my community
3. To make a difference and help to steer our wayward youth in the right direction
4. To have the summer off
5. The benefits package (medical, dental, retirement, etc.)
There is no better place than the public school system to "practice what you preach."

These are all the reasons why I want to become a teacher! Although having the summer holls is nice it is not as important as making a positive impact on a kid's life. I can deffinitely say that teachers are sometimes a pupil's only source of kindness, patience and understanding on a hard day. These reasons are great!

Holding two coins on the palm, one of my students told me,'Sir, these are the same side of two coins. What about the other side?' I told him,'You show me, then I will decide.' One proved to be a gold coin and the other a lower metal. But the denomination was same. The intrinsic value determines the worth and it would be lasting. That is not the case with 'pay'. Teaching is not everybody's cup of tea. Aptitude and attitude, pursuit and purpose, and many other things count.

Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is the probable reason why so few engage in it.
--- Henry Ford There is credible truth in 9 of the ten reasons to be a teacher, in my opinion, only of course. Teaching online requires a seven day week, with time off only during Christmas. However, the reward to pay it forward, and perhaps only guide one individual on the path to life long learning, would be bliss.
