Shoe Guides: Style Without Sacrificing Your Feet
Style Guru | TheApple.com
As a teacher, you have the luxury of not being stuck in a cubicle behind a computer all day. Being on your feet, however, requires a comfortable pair of shoes—shoes you can manage all day and that send an appropriate message to your students.
TheApple’s Style Guru has hand-selected a representative array of brands and styles that offer a gentle balance between fashion, function, and comfort. No band-aids for blisters necessary!
Women
The Bottom Line:
Invest in a great pair of leather flats, sandals or low-heeled pumps with a padded insole that cushions your feet from your morning coffee through recess and afternoon lessons.
Browse TheApple’s Shoe Guide for Women.
Men
The Bottom Line:
Invest in a pair of high-quality leather loafers or upscale sneakers with an all-purpose outsole and molds-to-your-feet comfortable insole.

I'm not a teacher (yet) but after working upscale retail, I probably could wear heels... but that doesn't mean I'd want to ;)
I think the only bad part of this pic are the cut off jeans... lol
