Biking Connemara, Ireland: Connemara is regarded by many as the Real Emerald Isle, the true Ireland just waiting to be explored. It is almost supernaturally beautiful, with rugged, green vistas that will touch your heart, and soothe your soul.

The weekly staying takes place at a lodge. From Lough Inagh Lodge, the group will set out on loop rides, exploring the beauty surrounding Connemara, while the staff provides pampering in true Irish style. From there you will: cycle along a harsh and rocky stretch of the Burren; explore the Island of Inishmore, where the best glass of Guinness can be found; and spin along the quiet roads of Western Ireland nestled between the mountains and coastline — wonderful bicycle trails that will make your heart ache. The tour will end eight days later in the beautiful town of Louisburgh.

Summer Climate:

The Climate in Ireland is unique and is a perennial subject of conversation. There is an old saying, “You don’t go to Ireland for the weather”. However, the weather in Ireland can be quite pleasant. The temperature remains relatively moderate throughout the year, never getting too hot to or too cold. Temperatures typically range between 60 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit (16 to 21 Celsius) in the summer months.

It rains a lot, and seldom snows. Accumulations are greatest in the West and least in the East and occur most frequently in the summer months.
